The North Worcestershire Path
This regional route runs for 27 miles, running east to west accross the north of Worcestershire. The route can be navigated in either direction but for the most part walkers seem to travel from the 'start' at Kingsford Country Park in the west to Majors Green, near Wythall in the east. Installation of the route was completed in the early eighties. The path follows existing public rights of way and was opened with the kind co-operation of the land owners over which it travels. The north Worcestershire Path has proved to be an incresingly popular medium distance walk for a wide range of groups and individuals.
