Historical County Maps

Created by Thomas Moule, an early Victorian cartographer, antiquarian and writer on heraldry.The detailed County Maps for which he is famous have become collector's items. These wonderful reproductions are of the 1841 versions which include the early railway lines and illustrations of county scenes and heraldic emblems. The maps featured are in the Rev. Barclay's Dictionary of the same period. Each map is printed using UV light resistant inks on high quality cream paper, and supplied complete with Forest Green mount surround, and accompanied by the original dictionary text describing the attributes, farming practices and other pertinent information of the time The overall size including the mount is 16" X 12" - ideal for standard sized frames.
