Britain Beneath Our Feet
This Atlas gives an overview of information on Britain's land quality, underground hazards, resources and geology, and also acts as a directory to themed datasets we can make available. All descriptions are in clear, jargon-free language. Geological information can make an essential contribution to many businesses, not least in improving understanding and raising awareness of natural risks. The full range of applications of geological information is perhaps not as well understood as it could be, and it is this, through publication of this Atlas, that we seek to address.
